KS Style Guide:
Some styles only last a season, whereas some come back year after year. One of those trends which is standing the test of time is the Over the Knee boot. And we love it! Look at any fashion magazines, blogs, street style images and front rows of fashion shows and you will no doubt catch models and editors marching their over the knee boots to the beat of their own drum. Whatever your style, your shape or your age there is a way for you to wear Over the Knees. Daunting to some it may seem with questions like are my legs too short, am i too old, are they too, dare we say it, tarty? The answer to all these questions is no! This boot can work beautifully for everyone, and is really quite simple to style. Just follow our simple steps and start rocking this perfect winter boot.
This season one of our best selling boots has been Leone. A brand new design this year, designed by us and hand crafted in Venice, this boot is the ideal place to start building your perfect Over the Knee look. In the softest stretch suede, and cut to the most flattering length ending just at the narrowest part of your thigh and featuring a mid block heel, this boot is a dream come true for those of you hunting high and low for the perfect over knee style. For those of you with slimmer legs we do a near identical version called 'Libellula' which comes in a slimmer cut and ends higher up the leg.
There's nothing nicer than being super cosy in a soft over sized knit, and i think we all have that go to jumper when we want just want to be warm and comfortable. Sound like the sort of thing only suitable for chilled nights tucking in at home? Think again! Take this look outside by pairing your two sized too big jumper with slim jeans and your leg hugging over the knee boots. Feeling a bit bolder? If the jumpers long enough, wear it as a dress with bare legs for slightly warmer days, and thick tights for colder ones. The slim boot finishing just on the thigh contrasts beautifully with the loose jumper creating a look that exudes easy chic. Throw on a long wool coat and you are fashion show ready!

Simplicity is Key
Going out in the evening and feel like you are stuck in the 'Jeans, heels and a nice top' rut? Take a plain white t shirt and jeans to the next level, by adding Leone in black. The stretch suede assures that the boots will hug your legs closely all day creating a leg lengthening look, while the mid block heel is made for strutting your stuff in complete comfort. Pair this look with a sharp tailored blazer and you've got a look that'll take you from the office to the bar seamlessly and stylishly.

The Long and Short of it
Playing with lengths and proportions creates a look that is effortlessly modern and cool. A mini skirt or dress paired with an over the knee boot is sexy and fun without flashing too much flesh. A slither of skin between the top of your boot and the hem of your skirt breaks up the look and is far more sophisticated than a short dress and stilettos, and creates a look perfect for date night. Not keen on on something short? Go the opposite direction and opt for a calf length skirt. This look lengthens your leg and creates height, producing an incredibly elegant and demure look. Dark tones lengthen the body even more and why not opt for a skirt with an asymmetric hem, or frill detail for a look that would get fashion editor approval!
Your New Look
Over the Knee boots don't seem to be going anywhere, and we couldn't be more glad. Whatever your style this really is a look that can work for everyone for every occasions whether it be the school run, a day in the office or an evening out! Work this trend to suit your fashion tastes and you will be looking bang of trend and super stylish all winter long!
